Neil deGrasse Tyson Brings Larry King to the Stars

Larry King talks space, astrophysics and more with Hayden Planetarium director Neil deGrasse Tyson on today's "Larry King Now."

It's one thing to know a lot about science, but in the age of social media and constant chatter, to be able to communicate scientific thought to others is never an easy task.

That's partially why Neil deGrasse Tyson, astrophysicist and head of the Hayden Planetarium in New York City has become so visible as a science communicator and go-to expert on space in the last decade. Tyson, whose thoughtful critique of "Gravity" made headlines recently, is today's guest on an all-new "Larry King Now" from New York City.

Tyson, who has also authored many books about space, spoke with Larry King about wanting to make an impact in the way people think about space.

"If you want to talk to the universe, you've got to learn their language," said Tyson. "Why am I interested in space? Because I think it's fascinating, it's awesome, it's limitless, it's boundless — and it hold the seeds of everyone's curiosity."
